They dubbed the four most common causes of construction industry deaths the “Fatal Four.” OSHA’s “Fatal Four” include:

- Struck by object
- Electrocutions
- Caught-in / between
According to OSHA, these four types of construction accidents caused more than half of all construction worker fatalities in 2013. Additionally, eliminating the “Fatal Four” would save around 468 construction workers’ lives a year.
